What BeargrassAI collects, how it is used, and how to ask for deletion. Short enough to read in a couple of minutes.
BeargrassAI is operated by Mark Ulett in Columbia Falls, Montana. Your privacy matters, and the policy below explains what information is collected, how it gets used, and what control you have over it.
What we collect
When you visit the website. BeargrassAI uses Cloudflare Web Analytics, which does not use cookies and does not track individual visitors. Aggregate data such as page views, referral sources, and country-level location is collected to understand how the site performs. No personal information is gathered from casual browsing.
When you use the Bloom Test. The only input collected is the URL you enter. Your URL is sent to the Google PageSpeed Insights API and processed by a Cloudflare Worker to generate your report. No results are stored. No account is created. No email address is collected.
When you use the on-site Agent. Conversations with the Agent are processed to answer your questions. Chat transcripts may be reviewed to improve Agent accuracy. No personally identifiable information is required to use the Agent.
When you contact us. If you reach out through the contact form, by email, or by phone, we collect whatever information you provide (name, email, phone number, business details). We use that information to respond to your inquiry and, if you become a client, to deliver services.
When you become a client. We collect business information necessary to build and maintain your website and Agent: business name, address, hours, service descriptions, photos, and any content you provide. Payment information is processed through Stripe and is not stored on our servers. See Why Stripe.
How we use your information
Your information is used to respond to inquiries, deliver contracted services, maintain and improve your website and Agent, and improve BeargrassAI tools and services. We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information with third parties for marketing purposes.
Third-party services
BeargrassAI uses the following third-party services in the course of building and maintaining client websites:
- Cloudflare for hosting, analytics, and security (Why Cloudflare)
- Stripe for payments and Connect (Why Stripe)
- Google for the PageSpeed Insights API and Google Business Profile synchronization
- AI model providers for Agent functionality
Each of these services has its own privacy policy. BeargrassAI selects providers that maintain reasonable data protection practices.
Cookies
The BeargrassAI website does not use cookies for tracking or advertising. Cloudflare may set strictly necessary cookies for security purposes such as automated-traffic detection. No third-party advertising or analytics cookies are used.
Your rights
You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of any personal information BeargrassAI holds about you. Requests can be sent to mark@beargrassai.com and will be addressed within 30 days.
If you are a BeargrassAI client, you own your content. Your domain is registered in your name. Your business data, text, photos, and structured data belong to you. See the Terms of Service for full ownership details.
Data security
Client websites are hosted on Cloudflare Pages with enterprise-grade security, automatic HTTPS, and DDoS protection. Access to client systems is limited to Mark Ulett and authorized tools used in service delivery.
Children's privacy
BeargrassAI services are designed for businesses and are not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from children.
Changes to this policy
Updates to this policy will be posted on this page with a revised date. Significant changes will be communicated to active clients by email.
